The SPIRITUAL KINESTHESIA series comprises artworks that explore the nature of spiritual experience. These are observations of human perception and its uneasy relationship with objective reality. The human desire for transcendence is characterized by a kinesthetic oppositional energy between inner and outer space. The "belief" pieces are made from everyday cardboard boxes: the cardboard is crushed, reconfigured, and given a glittery, snowy surface that includes selected embellishments. This transformative process represents the subtle and evolving nature of belief.
